Know Them? Linden Police Seek Men Who Stole ID, Badge Of Retired Firefighter

Linden police are on the lookout for two men who stole the badge and identification out of a retired firefighter’s vehicle on Garfield Street.

The burglary, which was captured on a dashcam video, occurred around 4:20 a.m. Monday, authorities said.

In the video, two men can be seen looking through the vehicle of Christopher Lukenda, a retired Linden firefighter with 28 years of service.

The video then shows the men fleeing with Lukenda’s badge and identification.
